About me:

My name is Keith Hair.

I am originally from North Carolina of the United States. I have an interest in programming for work and play.

Most of my work experience has involved using the ActionScript language with Flash, Flex, and AIR.

Through out this time I have integrated ActionScript with other technologies and languages such as XML, PHP, and Python.

On this blog, I will post content relevant to the above topics, and whatever hobbies and leisure I'm into at the moment.

The functions and scripts posted on this blog are what I've decided to share.  If you see some script that could be done better please comment with your example. The visual examples posted are just one implementation of the functions used. There are many ways to use or implement a function, so I chosed to only show the function and document its parameters.   If you have trouble understanding how to use a function or script from this blog in your own work, I suggest reading "Essential ActionScript 3.0" or any Oreilly Programming book covering the lauguage of the problem.  It has really help me understand how to apply information after I've learned the language syntax.
